Safety evaluation
There are many reports on the toxicity of resveratrol abroad, but there are
relatively few studies on the safety evaluation of resveratrol in China. Some
scholars used resveratrol to carry out nephrotoxicity experiment on rats. The
experiment showed that although the weight of mouse kidney increased, it had
no toxic and side effects on its tissue. The safety of trans resveratrol was
evaluated by oral toxicity test in mice. The results showed that trans resveratrol
had no acute toxicity and genetic toxicity, and had no toxicity to human body
within the test dose range. It was a safe product for human consumption.
