Resveratrol is a type of natural polyphenol compound, extracted from dried root of

reynoutria japonica. It is called reynoutria japonica exract, polygonum cuspidatum

extract or japanese knotweed extract. Resveratrol is brown (50%) to off-white powder

(98%), soluble in ethanol (50 mg/mL), DMSO (16 mg/mL), (50 mg/mL) and

other organic solvents, hardly soluble in water (3 mg/100mL).
