Beta-nicotinamide mononucleotide

Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) : the full name of "β-nicotinamide mononucleotide",

is a naturally occurring bioactive nucleotide. NMN has two irregular forms, α and β. The β

isomer is the active form of NMN with a molecular weight of 334.221g/mol. Because niacinamide

belongs to vitamin B3, NMN belongs to the category of vitamin B derivatives, which is widely

involved in a number of biochemical reactions in the human body and is closely related to

immunity and metabolism.

NAD+ affects glucose metabolism and many details of the body's fat tissue. In particular,

NAD+ in adipose tissue may be a key regulator of systemic metabolism. The researchers

found that in mice with normal tissues and organs, if only the fat tissue could not synthesize

NAD+, the metabolism of the whole body was dysfunctional, including skeletal muscle,

heart muscle, liver and lipid levels, and when the mice were given NMN, their function was normal.

of human aging. NAD+ levels decay with age, leading to changes in metabolism and
