Dendrobium (scientific name: Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo): stem erect,

terete, 9-35 cm long, 2-4 mm thick, unbranched, with multi section; leaf two,

oblong lanceolate, papery, margin and ribs often with pale purple. Racemes

often fall from the old stems of upper leaves issued with 2-3 flowers; bracts

scarious, pale white, ovate, ca. 5-7 mm long, yellowish green sepals and petals,

similar, oblong lanceolate, white, basally with 1 green or yellow corpus callosum,

ovate lanceolate shaped, slightly shorter than sepals reflexed, central. Yellow

green pistil column, about 3 mm long, each with 1 purple points on both sides

of the apex; drug cap white, long oval triangle, about 2.3 mm long, apex near

sharp and 2 fissure. The flowering period is 3-6 months.
